### Tasks
As a senior data architect in the commercial domain, you are a key player in creating real impact by delivering data and value to business partners within Lufthansa Group.
* Design & Strategy: Support the overarching data architecture vision
* System Implementation: Select and deploy data platforms (data warehouses, data lakes, cloud solutions)
* Data Integrity & Standards: Establish rigorous data quality protocols, ensuring accuracy and reliability of critical aviation data
* Security & Compliance: Safeguard sensitive data, adhering to aviation industry regulations and privacy standards (GDPR, etc.)
* Mentoring: Guide and upskill junior data team members
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in engineering, operations, maintenance, and business units
* Project Management: Oversee complex data architecture projects
* Staying Ahead of the Curve: Research, evaluate, and introduce emerging data technologies and trends

### Requirements
* Bachelors/Masters degree
* Proven experience in data architecture design, implementation & maintenance
* Deep understanding of data modeling concepts, data warehousing & ETL processes
* Proficiency in SQL & database technologies (both relational and NoSQL)
* Strong cloud computing experience (Azure, GCP)
* Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
* Ability to analyze complex data sets & translate business requirements into effective architectural designs
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills & a solution-oriented mindset
* Experience in performance optimization & troubleshooting data-related issues
* Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical & non-technical stakeholders
* Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
