Security Service Engineer (WAF) (m/f/diverse)

## Your tasks

* Providing 2nd level support and administration of various network security technologies;
* Configuring, deploying, and maintaining the WAF solution with API protection onPrem or in multi-cloud;
* Creating WAF rules and signatures to mitigate threats and implement best practices;
* Communicating and collaborating with various internal departments as well as external vendors;
* Supporting various network security projects;
* Participating in weekends, public holiday and on-call support when required;
* Contributing as an effective team player in an Agile team;
* Performing other tasks related to the job.

## Your profile

* Good knowledge of general network concepts - routing & switching;
* Understanding of Web Application Firewall (WAF) techniques, creation of WAF rules and signatures. Mitigation mechanisms;
* Experience in TCP/IP, web protocols and vulnerabilities;
* Good understanding of DDoS protection, monitoring, and logging solutions (SYSLOG, SIEM);
* Experience in OWASP Top 10, OWASP Risks, and vulnerabilities;
* University degree in Computer Networking, IT or relevant;
* Fluency in English.
