PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The global economy has been rapidly evolving from enterprise-centric to network-centric. No enterprise does business alone today. Suppliers, service providers, contract manufacturers, logistics pros – companies today rely heavily on their connections to their extended ecosystem to operate effectively. They need an intelligent and open network that delivers the enhanced visibility, greater efficiency and improved collaboration to achieve supply chain resilience and thrive in the face of disruption.
SAP already "owns" the largest procurement network in the world (Ariba Network) and SAP’s global operations and footprint in large enterprises allow us to leverage a network effect with our massive installed base. We will win with our unified strategy including a “best-of-suite” approach instead of siloed networks - a “network-of-networks” approach to include partners, and bringing together existing best of breed solutions like Asset Intelligence Network, Logistics Business Network and Ariba Networks into a multi-enterprise unified business network. Thus we will start to build an SAP Business Network unit which will combine related elements of our customers’ procure to supply chain workflow. It will be incubated under the newly announced Intelligent Spend and Business Network L1 organization.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As Outbound Product Manager (f/m/d) you will be responsible for rolling out the latest innovations and plans directly and indirectly to our customers.
- Preparing roll-out material in the form of demo videos, offline clickable demos, product brochures, customer presentations, knowledge transfer documents, etc.
- Always staying connected with product management and engineering to understand and collect the recently delivered and planned innovations.
- Communicating with customer facing colleagues, partners and customers to roll-out the previously described assets
- Supporting internal and external event preparation and execution.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required:
- Graduate / post-graduate degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) from a university or university of applied science, preferably in business and/or informatics
- Constructive and open style of communication and collaborative mindset.
- Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to act in a distributed team environment and managing across multiple locations
- Excellent presentation skills
- Fluent both English and German on business level
Preferred:
- Understanding of business network scenarios, market trends and competitive landscape
- Understanding of SAP’s strategy and product portfolio
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required:
- 5+ years of product/customer management
- 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
- Proven experience of customer-first mindset and ability to transform technology into a business / outcome-oriented messaging
- Proven track record in a Product Management role or similar field and customer facing function, with direct interaction with engineering, customers, partners, analysts, sales, pre-sales, etc.The position can be filled as part time position.
