Functional Safety Engineer (m/w/d)

Unser Mandant ist ein innovativer Automobilzulieferer und führend in der Fahrzeugentwicklung samt dazugehöriger Elektronik- und Softwareentwicklung. Für den Unternehmensstandort in der Nähe von Aschaffenburg suchen wir im Rahmen einer Arbeitnehmerüberlassung einen Functional Safety Engineer (m/w/d).

Dauer: mindestens 6 Monate (mit Option auf Verlängerung)

##### Ihre Aufgaben

* Tailors the safety case of the program in collaboration with the functional safety manager and the Technical Lead.
* Provides guidance and support to the program team in the development of their work products per the safety case in compliance with ISO 26262.
* Supports the functional safety manager in the development of the Development Interface Agreement (DIA) with the customer.
* Develops and owns the functional safety program plan in collaboration with the program manager.
* Tracks the program’s functional safety issues and drives for their closure.
* Supports the functional managers with the verifications reviews of the work products per GPEP (eng. process) and ISO 26262.
* Supports the functional safety manager in carrying out the Confirmation Measures per ISO 26262 (Confirmation Reviews, Safety Audit, and Safety Assessment)
* Provides assessment of the program status in terms of functional safety to the functional safety manager.
* Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. Ensures that facilities are in full compliance with all safety regulations.
* Ihre Qualifikationen: 4-8 years’ relevant product and or technology experience regarding the Responsibility/ Activities (listed above) for automotive electronics serial development projects (mandatory).
* Strong knowledge of ISO 26262
* experience with functional safety either in the automotive or aerospace industry a plus
* Solid background in systems engineering, electrical hardware engineering, or software engineering in the Automotive industry
* Experience with failure analysis techniques (FMEA, FTA, …)
* Experience in developing technical processes, procedures, guidelines, and templates.
* Good communication skills; ability to explain concepts to other engineers.
